Q. Can everything be handled in English, from engagement to tax filing?

Yes. Inquiries, meetings, engagement letters, day-to-day communication, and explanations of deliverables can all be done in English. We can also communicate directly with staff at your head office.

Q. We do not have an accountant in Japan. Can you still support us?

Yes. Using cloud accounting (freee), we design a workflow that runs from bookkeeping to tax filing without in-house accounting staff. Your head office can see the numbers in real time.

Q. Is there anything you do not handle?

We do not take engagements that require communication in Chinese (we can refer you to a trusted tax accountant for Chinese-language matters). Our working languages are Japanese and English.

Q. We are located far from your office. Is that a problem?

No. Meetings are held online, so we can support clients anywhere in Japan and overseas.

Q. Can you work with accounting software other than freee?

Please ask us first. For newly built accounting workflows, we recommend freee.

Q. How are fees determined?

Fees are quoted individually based on company size, transaction volume, and scope of work. We will make a proposal after a free initial consultation.

Q. What are the steps to engagement?

Contact us → free 30-minute online meeting → quotation and proposal → engagement.

Q. Do you accept referrals from accountants and other professionals?

Yes. We act as a partner for engagements that require English support, small and mid-size foreign-owned clients, and “tax-only” work. See “For partners” for details.
